Father's responsibility
Surely, then, if a dad knows (or perhaps chooses to be blind to) the things his children do, and does nothing to stop it (which, essentially, encourages behaviors) then the responsibility lies also with him.
I'm thankful my dad taught me pretty well, then. Even at times I hid some things from him, my parents had ingrained in me morals & values I could not and did not ignore in my decision making.
