Independence Day

Freedom comes at a cost.
Redemption is always paid for.
Just as some wars are fought to end injustice and tyranny at the price of blood, so too might our souls be saved by the death of just one man.

"It is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish." ~John 11:50

"16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." ~John 3:16-18

"Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). There they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle." ~John 19:17-18

Independence Day. Let us never forget all those who have loved, served & sacrificed for our freedoms.
